iPhone/iPod Touch のバックアップデータから、OSX で扱えるファイルに復元する「iPhone / iPod Touch Backup Extractor」。 iPhone / iPod Touch Backup Extractor このアプリケーションは、iPhone/iPod Touch のバックアップしたデータ ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ にある xxxxx.mdbackup というファイル群を OSX で扱えるファイルに復元するものです。 さて、このアプリケーションの役割なんですが、一般のユーザは、使用することがないかもしれませんが（SQLite データファイルをデコードすれば、SMS やメモのデータを取り出すことが出来る）、iPhone/iPod Touch 用のアプリを開発されている方々にとっては、使えるツールだと思います。 バックアップされているデータの中には、 iTunesMetadata.plist Log.txt など、バグを調べるにあたり有効なものが保存されています。 まだまだ、完璧とはいえない iPhone/iPod Touch 環境ですので、これらのデータを活用すると、より安定したアプリの開発につながるかもしれませんね。
