Apple has restricted us iPhone users to just iTunes AppStore. But, thanks to DevTeam, you can jailbreak a iPhone to enjoy other apps that are out there in the wild. I jailbroke my iphone 3G last week and its working great. First I was not sure how its gonna work and I was a little hesitant to jailbreak the iphone. But after I did it I was surprised at actually how simple it was to ...

TUAW reports that Apple released a software update for its MacBook Air last night, which is said to fix issues with video playback and processor idling. But more importantly, Apple warned against running apps that modify processor performance (TUAW lists CoolBook), as the update does not support them. The software update and accompanying documentation can be found here and here. [TUAW]

Filed under: iPhone A new iPhone software update just hit iTunes. Version 2.0.2 is described as a bug fix release with little additional information. As usual, a version can be downloaded directly from Apple's servers or through iTunes. And, as always, this update will de-pwn your iPhone, should you have previously pwned it for command-line shell access and third-party Cydia applications. If you've upgraded your iPhone or iPod touch, drop us a note in the ...

If you'll recall, the new feature will allow third-party developers to take advantage of Apple's servers for real-time push of data to and from applications. Apparently, the feature has been cut from the most recent beta for "further development" with no indication of when ...
