Zum ersten mal gibt es einen offiziellen Release von XMBC für alle künftig unterstützten Plattformen. Es handelt sich zwar noch um die erste Beta-Version, jedoch ist diese nun offiziell für Linux, Mac OSX, XBox und Windows verfügbar.
