I just tripled my 401(k) contibution to 24% of my salary. I can’t afford it, but I also can’t believe how cheap this stuff is now. I’ll make the cuts elsewhere to make up for it.

Brian Kelly 幾個月前曾提到 英國的 University of Bath 透過 Internet Archive (IA) 的 WayBack Machine 收集了 1997 ~ 2007的首頁，並以不同的方式來呈現這些歷史畫面。這些方式分別為： 在 History of the University of Bath Home Page 以縮圖呈現每一時期的首頁，點選可看大圖。 提供 Slide Show，如果裝有 Piclens 外掛，還可以 3D 的方式來觀看。 以瀏覽器輪播方式顯示不同時期的首頁，link 另外，在 YouTube 上也有一段展示 3D Slide Show 的影片： http://www.youtub... 看完上述的介紹後，您是不是也想要看看自己圖書館網頁的歷史畫面呢? 覺得有趣的是，這些歷史畫面(特別是首頁) 一定有些什麼故事或原因，才會設計成那樣，當然這包括當時設計的理念或想法。 我忍不住去 IA 查了一下我們館的網站歷史記錄，並試著找出每一次改版的畫面： 1996/11/09，點擊上圖放大 這是 IA 上最早的記錄(1996)，不曉得是不是我們館第一版的首頁?! 2000/3/4，點擊上圖放大 這個版面怎麼試，IA 的存檔就是無法顯示出首頁中的圖片來，不過可以看出來這個版本壽命很短，只維持了 8個月。 2000/11/17，點擊上圖放大 這個版型設計在當時的大學圖書館相當流行，幾乎每個學校的圖書館首頁都很像，就是中間一張圖片，然後在週圍列出一些功能。 2002/6/5，點擊上圖放大 跟前一版本長得差不多，似乎變化不大。 2004/9/15，點擊上圖放大 這應該算是最長壽的版型吧，從 2004 一直用到今年(2008)。期間或多或少有些小變動，但感覺上不會有太大的差異。 2005/11/24，點擊上圖放大 這與上面的是同一版型，較特別的是首頁中最新消息的資料來源是 News得來速 部落格，也開始在首頁提供 RSS。 2008/10/8，點擊上圖放大 這是這學期(8月) 剛換的新版型，可以看出整個設計的理念與以往有很大的不同，主要是希望讀者在首頁就可以很快找到想要的功能連結。 其實上面這些歷史網頁(檔案) ...Shared by diglib (42)Contribute comment(mass)think!
