Don't you love it at the end of a job, when everything seems to go wrong (Murphy's law anyone?), PM's start blaming Revit? "These notes aren't showing up! (found out later they were deleted)....These windows are not printing! (again, deleted).....9 MEP sheets won't show up in the Sheet List! That's it....we're re-typing the sheet list in a text box!"."Wait! Did you check if the "Appears in Drawing List" parameter is checked for the missing sheets?", ...

If you type CAL on the command line, at the Expression prompt you can type a formula and AutoCAD will return the answer. For example, an expression could be as simple as: 1+1 …one plus one, or… 5*2 …five times two, or… 5*(100-40) …one hundred minus forty, times five. The possibilities are endless. It is important to understand the syntax of CAL expressions. There is also quite a list of standard numeric functions in AutoCAD. ...

You cannot turn off, freeze or change the color of a layer if the layer name contains the characters "#", "@", or "~" because these characters are wildcards in the new Layer Properties Manager. Hopefully it will be fixed in a coming Update. Autodesk Knowledge Base article including a couple of workarounds.

Since the FBX capabilities between Revit and 3DS Max have been introduced, more users are creating renderings and animations in 3DS Max. To complete the scene you need some existing and proposed ground models which obviously can be designed in ...
