Nonsequiturlass (flickr) In a downsizing economy, the best return on investment for your career may be to focus on your current job. Still, preparing for your next job or next career can be a wise move. In uncertain times, pursuing your dream job may take the back seat to pursuing a career that is in demand. While there are no sure-things any more when it comes to employment, there still are some sound hedged bets. ...Shared by Alberto (1005) Alex (182) Amit Chowdhry (610) AmyVernon (1475) BA}{AR (60) Babychen Mathew (333) chris (447) coolmunk (36) Deborah Petersen (670) derek markham (530) dewde (30) Dragos Pirvu (460) Gerald Weber (642) guy (291) Hank Green (29) J.D. Once upon a time, FeedBurner was a scrappy little web company with a big idea: Make it easier for publishers to manage their RSS feeds, and for people to use them. That was back in 2004, and FeedBurner caught on like wildfire. Bloggers loved being able to have some measure of how many people were using their otherwise unmetered feeds. It was very simple to set up, and FeedBurner was a good citizen when it ...Shared by alifr (143) Anton Johansson (69) assbach (44) Ben (160) Chris Baskind (97) Greg Bloom (1) Hank Green (29) huixing (27) Jeff Blaze (54) Jennifer Lance (83) Jesse Stay (120) Karoli (60) Laughing Squid (106) LEMONed (4) louisgray (180) Mark Dykeman (33) Mike Fruchter (838) Morgan (79) nicolas.boullosa (41) Nirav (48) p0ps (15) Remarkablogger (49) Scott (33) Sean (34) Tamar Weinberg (41) Tim Hoeck (71) Tim R (8)- Jesse Stay said: Are there any feedburner-like stats plugins for Wordpress? New standards, such as SUP and XMPP, are making instantaneous publishing practical. Publish a post it shows up immediately on a SUP-aware service like FriendFeed. No waiting for Google’s spiders to poll your feed.
